Hello Astro!

I started blogging on Hashnode in 2022. It was an easy way to publish posts and share what I was working on, but eventually I wanted more control over the site.

In particular, I wanted to put interactive examples directly into posts. That led me to Astro.

Why Astro?

I can keep most of a post as static HTML and load JavaScript for the parts that need it. That suits the kind of posts I want to write: text, with an occasional demo you can play with.

What’s next?

I’d like to use examples like this to explain concepts and share experiments. For now, I’m happy to have the blog and my projects in one place, with more freedom to change how they work.
